What to Expect: During your session, you will lay clothed on a massage table, with your shoes off. (Be sure to wear comfortable clothing!)
You will be provided with prop pillows and a sheet to ensure you are as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Clients generally close their eyes and meditate or fall asleep. Practitioners will use their hands to gently support the weight of your head, neck and spine, laying their hands gently on top of your body as necessary.
How It Works
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more.
What clients are saying
“After my multi-hands CranioSacral Therapy appointment, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace. It was so gentle and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before.
For months after my session there was a slight but perceptible shift in how I connected my daily habits to managing my chronic health symptoms. I’ve just felt better and better overall since then. I can’t wait to go back for my next session!” – Carol-Anne
