We live our lives mostly in our heads. More and more research is proving that emotions are stored in our bodies and can manifest in different ailments when left unaddressed.
“Feel : Emotional Expression Through Movement” dance class with Britney Page provides a safe, compassionate space to feel emotions that you may be repressing in your daily life. It’s also a space to celebrate one another and express joy!
Join us for some much-needed time for reflection and release through movement. You’ll leave with a feeling of release, more connected to your body, and more connected to your community.
During the Event:
Wear clothes you’re comfortable sitting and moving in; bare feet are preferred. Bring water, journal & pen, anything you want to add to the altar.
About Our Hostess
Britney is a former ESE and English teacher who is currently working toward her Master’s in Social Work. Britney is passionate about dance and believes it is a great tool to promote confidence, self-expression, and overall growth. Britney started her dance career as a dancer in musicals, where she soon took the role of lead choreographer. She then created her own summer dance program for five years.
This led her to teach at Step N Time Dance studio in Michigan for nearly ten years, where she taught and participated in various styles. She has had several opportunities to train in NYC with the likes of TWITCH, Mia Michaels, Twyla Tharp, and Mandy Moore. Britney believes we can find connection with ourselves and others through movement. She is committed to bringing the benefits of dance to all bodies.
Every 1st Saturday | 4-5PM | $20 per spot OR $35 for 2 spots (Come to 2 events or bring a friend! Either way you’ll be given a redemption code good for 2 sessions)
