Believe it or not, my story begins as a once frustrated, unregulated public-school teacher of children who perpetuated systemic problems by placing blame on all things external.  And though I was very loving and well-educated, and my teaching style was engaging and dynamic, the pressures of academia prevailed void of any meaning or purpose. When I saw the resistance and unfavorable behaviors of students, I knew a shift was necessary. I was heard. There was an inexplicable force that moved me forward and directed me to a Montessori school! I walked right into the office of the head of school, where I met my mentor who is now my dear friend and business partner who showed me the tools to crack open self-love.

As an educator whose passion and soul’s calling is to teach children, I couldn’t develop within them what I hadn’t developed in me. I wanted to embody unconditional love and empowerment, and it be implicit and integrated into the curriculum and in my life. My partner, Tracey Etelson, theorized Conscious Curriculum and together we tested it, and further developed it, ourselves, and the children with our deepest and truest mission to evolve education and human consciousness.

When we brought this concept to other educators, we learned in our work with teachers that they could not teach beyond their consciousness. In remembering the tools I had once used and continue to use, I tried to open up their consciousness. I saw how being exposed to certain modalities helped me on my path and I wanted to do that for others. This led to a desire to open a healing center where we could provide a safe place to support this process that speaks to all senses, including the extrasensory.

This goes hand in hand with our educational platform to coach school and home educators in planning, executing, and facilitating fully integrative experiences for children who are homeschooled, or attend public or private school offering curriculum, and developing personalized education plans to speak to their strengths, grow personally, and ultimately create conscious humans.
