A Love Affair with Herbal Medicine

Welcome to our tonic bar and formulary! My name is Adam, although many people call me Adonito. I have been fascinated by plant magic since I was a small child, and have spent time in nature and worked with the plant spirits since as long as I can remember.

As an adult I studied nutrition and green medicine in NYC with Peeka Trenkle, and apprenticed with Lata Chettri-Kennedy, who I now call a dear friend. She opened what is now the longest standing herb shop in NYC, Flower Power. I had the great fortune of working closely with Richard Mandelbaum who was a founding member of the American Herbalist Guild, and many other prolific herbalists such as Yulia Graves, and Robin Rose Bennet. It was such a joyful and exhilarating time studying the consciousness, constituents and healing partnerships we can forge with plant allies.

Since I moved from NYC, it has always been my wish to share this deeply nourishing relationship with my community. This is the start of that journey. It is our goal to provide access to the best, freshest and most lovingly prepared herbal concoctions for health and happiness.
